500 YEARS OF RUBBISH AND RECYCLING

SUMMARY 1

The story of the rubbish started 5000 years ago and it seems it won’t finish until people get aware.

Over 2500 years ago there were a lot of problems wish rubbish and people threw all of their rubbish on the streets, and the government of Athens said they did not want a landfill, so they threw it on the outsides of the cities.

In China 2000 B.C, people composted their rubbish, but in England the streets became very dirty and the government said that people had to burn the rubbish instead of throwing it on the street. In the middle age in Germany decided to carry the rubbish away to the country side.

Today the problem of the rubbish continues because machines and factories made lot of pollution so we must finish this problem.

The text talk about the history of recycling for 5000 years of history.

All the problems began when people started to live in towns and did more rubbish than normal. Than the people decided to start recycling, like China. But not all the people in England did it, there were people that throw the rubbish outside the houses. For this, the streets smelt very bad. The government started to do laws to disagree people to throw the rubbish. At last the people throw the rubbish outside the city. Later in Germany people did the same. The cities started to be cleaner.

But the world’s biggest problem become to the factories and the people.

Rubbish and the recycling have always been in our life.

In the earliest times, people did not have much rubbish. In a lot of cities, people composted their rubbish. After a few months this material called compost, is very good for plants. But the compost wasn't used, so the people throw it on the streets and this caused a lot of health problems.

In this way, in different places, the people invented new technology for a better life for us.

Now, the rubbish came from factories and doesn't disturb so much as in the past times but the problem goes on.

SUMMARY 4

The evolution of the recycle started 5000 years ago. Over 2500 years in Athens, the people hat to take all the rubbish outside the city. Later, in China in 2000 B.C the people composted the rubbish and in England in 1297 the people burnt the rubbish in the houses. In 1354, England and Germany began to employ special workers to take the rubbish out the cities. But the world biggest problem with rubbish began when machines and factories were built, and the towns got bigger and dirtier, and this problem continues today.
